I made myself this Petrified Wood Slice Necklace during a hard time in my life, I was uncertain of what the future would hold for myself and my family. It reminded me that no matter what, life goes on and that even a tree goes through periods of drought and despair, but it keeps on growing. So, I set it in a way that showcased its natural beauty and raw edges. Then, I hung it on a chain to sit just right on my chest. Right in that sweet spot where my heart is.
